25 Things That Would Be Different If Gossip Girl Was Set In London

Gossip Girl is my all time favourite show. I've watched the entire series over and over again, and I love to pick any random episode from any season and just watch it when I'm bored and there's nothing good on TV. Besides, I've watched it so many times that even if I pick any episode in the middle of any season I'll still know exactly what's going on.

A little while back I saw this feature on Cosmo via Seventeen about how GG would be different in 2016, and it got me thinking about what would be different about the show if it had been set in London rather than New York. So, inspired by Seventeen and Cosmopolitan, I've decided to compile some differences between New York based Gossip Girl and a London based Gossip Girl and share them with you all. There would definitely be loads more than just these ones though, so maybe I'll make a part two in the future.

Just be warned that this post will definitely contain some spoilers so I advise you not to read on unless you've watched the entire show from start to finish! When I first watched GG I knew about loads of big storylines as well as finding out who Gossip Girl was when I had just started season three and I have to say, knowing storylines ruined it way more than knowing who Gossip Girl was. In fact, when Gossip Girl was being revealed I didn't even realise that was what was happening, despite knowing who it was for so long before.

Mixing Trends: Off The Shoulder & Athleisure

off the shoulder bardot athleisure wear sports luxe ss16 style trends fashion
Top Bershka (similar) • Leggings Nike @ JD • Trainers Nike @ ASOS • Socks River Island • Rings Pandora & Topshop

This year it's been all about the bardot tops and dresses, as well as the whole wearing-your-workout-gear-out thing but how do you know how to wear these trends yourself and incorporate them into your everyday wardrobe?

Trying out trends is definitely worth it to find out what you like and what suits you, and the idea of looking like you're only following what's in shouldn't deter you because experimenting with the clothes you wear can bring out a newfound confidence in you and shake up your dress sense when you feel like you're in a style rut.

Wimbledon 2016 // Day 4

I wanted to get this post up as soon as humanely possible before it became kind of redundant since nobody will really care about day four of Wimbledon come next week when we get to the end of The Championships, hence why it's going up quite late in the evening. Also, what a photo to start off my post! Sure it's no snazzy blog photography but it's Novak Djokovic! I still can't believe it.

So if you follow me on Twitter, you will have seen that yesterday I was lucky enough to go to Wimbledon with a Centre Court ticket to see my two faves, Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka, playing. You also will have seen that when the order of play for day four was announced, Wawrinka's (and Kyrgios') match had been postponed until today, day five. To say I was gutted is an understatement. To say I am even more gutted now that it is day five and Wawrinka has played and lost, being knocked out of Wimbledon on only the second round, is even more of an understatement. Nevertheless, I had an amazing day at Wimbledon yesterday and I wanted to share it on here!
